Startlogic are one of the oldest names in the hosting industry. Despite a lot of bad reviews in 2006 we are happy to allow Startlogic back onto our toplist for 2008 (after a absence until December 2007!). Start logic got a lot of complaints for a short period while they had some support staff issues. We remember hearing that this was one of the worst hosts online but they really made an effort to get back in shape and re-establish themselves
Not only re-establish themselves but as leaders in the web hosting field. It must have been a change in management (or a law suit!) that got them back on track but they are now thriving like never before.Startlogic are now known for their communication both pre-sales and post-sales which makes a nice change from other hosting companies. Startlogic are also pretty well known for their periodic special offers to entice customers away from their current hosts. If you are looking for a well rounded host looking to go above and beyond to make up for past mistakes, we recommend Startlogic.

CONS:
- Startlogic got a bad rap due to problems back in ‘06 and legacy online reviews reflect that.
- Startlogic Domain Domain names are way more expensive than others if you are not a new customer.
- Startlogic offer a few too many products. Some not even hosting related.

- Startlogic have a lot to prove. Customer service is now well above par and support lightning fast.
- Startlogic are one of the very few to offer a Free Domain when you sign up for any package.
- Startlogic have more resources than 8 of the top ten hosts on our toplist.
- Unlimited databases, emails and domains. Do we need to say any more about that?

Been with startlogic for about 11 months now and have been super happy with them so far. One small issue about a month ago where someone on my server overloaded it. They banned their account and it was resolved in hours. Hours seemed like a long time but in retrospect, I’m happy enough with how they treated it.

I agree, startlogic have been in the business quite a while and am happy to say that I am one of their customers. While I am on their cheapest package, its does everything I want and when I contact support I don’t get treated like I am bottom of the barrel scum.

Another happy camper here. We have used Startlogic for our ecommerce store after we moved from Yahoo stores a year ago. We have been nothing but happy and during last Xmas usual rush our store stayed online unlike MANY others. The guys at startlogic seem like they really know their stuff and are always a bit of a laugh on live support. If you are considering hosting, I’d go with startlogic. Tell them Dan Gorman sent you!
